Contingent Search typically works under a “No Win, No Fee” method. Meaning, the service is performed for free by Forward Thinking Consulting Group until the day the proposed talent accepts the position and starts with your company. Once candidate is selected and starts for your firm, service fee is paid.
Retained Search works on a “retained basis,” meaning that you pay a percentage of the service fee up front in order to conduct the search. This type of Search operates exclusively – which means the position will only be filled by Forward Thinking Consulting Group. We go through a rigorous Search process for each position, providing a short list of candidates (usually between three and ten) to your firm before interviews begin.
Retained Search is often seen as a proactive recruiting method. This means most candidates are already in similar positions and are not necessarily actively looking at job listings. This type of Executive Search is a partnership between the client and Forward Thinking, often leading to the best and most qualified candidates.
Contract and Temporary Placement are generally resources only needed for specific periods of time. Great approach for time-sensitive projects, filling in for Employees on leave, or used as a trial period for possible Full-Time hiring (Contract to Hire).
